It is normal to have fear.
I have tons of them.
And many ask me this. “Don’t I had fears when I left my stable career to pursue entrepreneurship with no certain future?”
And my answer is…
“Yes. Tons of it. But I could prepare for them. However, my biggest fear is the fear of regrets, and if I don’t do it, there is no way I can overcome that.”
One of the things that can make us feel afraid is our own imagination. We associate fear with something unpleasant, unknown, and dangerous.
It is a normal human emotion that everyone experiences from time to time. Fear can be triggered by different factors: a peculiar sound in the dark, an upcoming job interview, or going out on a date with someone you don’t know well.
Truthfully, with fear, I won’t be where I am today.
Fear is an important tool for our mental and physical development. It helps us to avoid harmful situations and learn from our mistakes (or others’ mistakes).
Our brain is conditioned over years of evolution to feel fear because we need to survive to reproduce. But if we had only stayed in our comfort zone, humans would not have been able to become the dominant species we are today.
